With a contemporary vision and a respect for the history of craft, our small team of two is prepared to build you a unique heirloom quality lamp.

We make most of our lamp bodies out of domestic hardwoods such as cherry, walnut, and maple. We select our woods for their visual qualities, long term stability, and sustainability.

Chris turns our lamp bodies on a wood lathe, where all cuts are guided by his experienced hand and never by an automated process. Every lamp body is a unique handmade piece, but yes, we will make you a matching pair!

Danielle uses plant material to naturally dye fabric. Much of that plant material is grown in our own garden. Once the fabric is prepared, she constructs each shade by hand.

All our lamps leave the shop with a permanent finish to protect the wood. While versed in a variety of finishing techniques, Chris favors natural finishes that invite the sense of touch. Last, Chris assembles every lamp with high quality fittings and electrical components.
